Crazy Fury: the announced project
In 2022 MontyLab presented Crazy Fury as an NFT collection linked to a community and benefits including events, video calls, discounts and experiences. The communication references an initial plan of 10,000 pieces; the official page consulted for this edition lists 3,558. The difference is documented but does not by itself explain the reasons, buyer count or net revenue.
Announced experiences include sport and meetings with Montemagno. The description establishes what was offered, rather than what every buyer received. The page itself makes benefits subject to conditions, limitations and possible changes over time.
The petition and falling prices
In September 2022 Borsa&Finanza reported a Change.org petition in which some buyers requested refunds after secondary-market prices fell. The article gives an initial price of around 0.08 ETH. It also reports that Montemagno discouraged purchases by people interested only in speculative profits. Both elements belong in the account.
A falling price does not quantify every buyer’s realised loss. A complete transaction dataset and a reliable calculation of aggregate outcomes are missing. The cited documents establish neither fraud nor a court-confirmed entitlement to refunds; they describe complaints and market performance.
Politics, personal branding and criticism
In 2012 Il Fatto Quotidiano criticised involvement in the PDL’s digital initiatives and the rhetoric of internet “gurus”. This is a documented journalistic position, distinct from a judicial finding. The collected information does not reconstruct a contract, fees or precise responsibilities.
Criticism of his style often concerns simplification, promotion and overlap between educational content and commercial products. These can be discussed on the evidence of individual pieces of content. Polemical labels such as “fuffaguru”, roughly a guru selling empty promises, express a judgement; they are not factual or legal categories and do not establish deceptive conduct.
Inconsistencies left visible
Three examples show why returning to documents matters: Blogosfere described as “sold”, with documents showing 30% in 2007 and a subsequent sale of 80% in 2010; Lavorability and Tutto Montemagno dated differently across the website, events and catalogues; sporting rank described as top three or top five. We do not erase differences to produce a smoother story, nor automatically turn them into accusations of dishonesty.

When others misuse his identity
Montemagno has posted warnings about fake profiles using his name and image. The original research also mentions advertisements using AI imitations of his voice or identity, but does not retain a recoverable specific link for every incident. These are reports of impersonation; they do not establish his involvement in the fraudulent initiatives being reported.
What this research cannot certify
The supplied research did not identify, in the public sources it consulted, decisions establishing fraud in relation to Crazy Fury, or significant personal convictions or proceedings documented by authoritative sources. We report the scope of that research, not the result of an exhaustive judicial check or a criminal-record certificate.
The absence of a web result does not prove the absence of every proceeding. Italian registers are not all fully searchable by name, and comprehensive professional databases were not used. Nor does a company profile without court listings certify an individual’s legal history. Corrections should identify a relevant, traceable document.
